Wizkid Reclaims Top Spot On Billboard World Album Chart
Afrobeats star, Wizkid has reclaimed primary place on the billboard world album chart
Nigerian afrobeats celebrity Ayodeji Balogun, popularly often known as Wizkid, has reclaimed the highest put up on the Billboard World Albums Chart along with his final album, titled “Made in Lagos.“
Wizkid’s Made in Lagos” first topped the Billboard World Albums chart in August 2021, changing Korean pop band BTS‘ album, ‘The Finest’.
In a latest replace, ‘Made in Lagos’, which was in fourth place final week and second place two weeks in the past, has topped the chart this week, adopted by ‘Attacca‘ by South Korean boy band Seventeen, Apparently, Nigerian-buzzing singer CKay sits in third place along with his 2019-released EP, ‘Ckay the First‘.
The traditional ‘Made in Lagos’ album has to date spent a 12 months on the Billboard World Album Chart, the longest time ever performed by a Nigerian or Afrobeats act.
